Position Summary

The Campground Attendant position is primarily responsible for performing a wide variety of duties including booking campsite reservations, providing support to guests, maintaining exceptional cleanliness of all facilities, grounds keeping, and responding to rental inquiries, all with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.


This is an exciting summer job with flexible hours from March to September, competitive wages, and an end of season bonus – come join our team!



Key Responsibilities

  • Office Responsibilities: answering and responding to phone and email inquiries, booking outstanding customer service and assistance to guests, tracking inventory, completing daily assigned by Property Manager.records, recording monthly utility meter reads, and completing any additional duties as reservations, checking guests in and out, cash handling, operating cash register, providing
  • Rental Community Responsibilities: responding to rental inquiries, accepting rent payments, conducting viewings on occasion, creating work orders for maintenance requests.
  • Cleaning: maintaining exceptional cleanliness of the office, laundry room, and camp bathrooms.
  • Grounds Keeping: preparing campsites for check-in, maintaining grounds clanlineess (litter pick-up, raking, weeding, washing picnic tables), cleaning and maintaining chemical balance in the pool and hot tub, sorting recycling and bottles, watering flowers, some mowing/weed whacking, leaf-clowing, and completing any other duties assign by the Property Manager.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all Health and Saefty standards and legislation guidelines.  

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Relevant office or reception experience preferred but not necessary
  • High school graduate
  • Valid driver’s license an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to take initiative without persistent supervision
  • Possess sensational customer service philosophy
  • Highly organized, focused and results-oriented
  • Desire to work with and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Appearance must be neat, clean and professional
  • Willingness to take on additional roles or responsibilities as required by the Property Manager
  • Must be available to work irregular work hours including weekends and holidays
  • Security clearance required upon offer of employment
