Westcorp is seeking a capable Leasing Administrator for Ledge on Lakeshore. The successful candidate is a front-line professional, welcoming all residents, guests, and rental inquiry applicants. In addition, this role provides support to the leasing and administrative teams to ensure industry-leading levels of customer service are provided to all stakeholders in the community. This position may require some extra hours from time to time, particularly at month-end, so the ability to work some weekends is required This is a contract position, spanning from April-September with some flexibility in start and end dates with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The salary range is $23.50-$25.00 an hour, plus commission.

Primary Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Interact with future and current prospects to ensure a great customer experience in a manner that values guests' time. 
  • Facilitate a seamless end-to-end guest experience by conducting accurate and timely communication and following up with relevant omnichannel programs (e.g.) online, email, and phone sales according to company standards.  
  • Greet and qualify customers on the telephone, in person or by email with the view that the end result will be a new resident. 
  • Receive guest feedback and partner with property leadership to take appropriate action and "make it right" for guests. 
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences to ensure a supportive and engaging experience for all team members and guests. 
  • Establish supportive and productive relationships with all team members. 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal resident experience and support property operations. 
  • Complete accurate, detailed reporting, including resident applications, leases, and move-in/out inspections. 
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations. 
  • Present the product and share detailed information regarding features and benefits based on our future residents.  
  • Oversee post-move-in contact with new residents to ensure satisfaction with the unit and move-in process. 
  • Ensure comprehension and compliance with all Westcorp Playbook policies.      
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Property & Leasing Manager. 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

 

  • Perform operational support services and general office administration. 
  • Rent collection and ongoing promotion of EFT set up in RentCafe for all accounts. 
  • Actively and efficiently collect, monitor, reconcile, and report all outstanding residential accounts. 
  • Issue notices and communications to tenants as required. 
  • Monitor set up and perform all file audits to ensure resident files' quality assurance (including but not limited to parking, demographic, pets, and contact information) and that we meet RTA regulatory timelines.  
  • Record notices to vacate from residents. 
  • Assist with event organization at the property as needed. 

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

 

  • Relevant experience in the administration of residential property management and with the Residential Tenancies Act is an asset. 
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required. 
  • Must have the flexibility and be available to work the hours that can be irregular, as required by the business needs. 
  • Highly proficient in a variety of computer software packages. We utilize Microsoft Office, w/TEAMS, Yardi (RentCafé, Voyager Plus), and SharePoint. 
  • Experience using Yardi or similar customer-engagement software is preferred. 
  • Must be flexible and willing and can change roles, tasks, or responsibilities as required 
  • Appearance must be neat, clean, and polished. 
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license 
  • A security clearance is required upon offer of employment.
